- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and stairways
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage- Notify management of any repairs required

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that facilities are safe and well-cared for.

Duties:

• Clean office and plant bathrooms by sweeping, mopping & scrubbing floors using plant supplied chemicals
• Supply bathrooms with hand wash soap, toilet paper and paper towels
• Supply facility hand wash sinks with hand soap and paper towels
• Check operation of paper towel dispensers
• Gather and empty trash from offices, bathrooms, cafeteria and hand wash sink areas
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust office furniture's, walls and work stations
• Vacuum and clean carpeted areas
• Clean main cafeteria and office kitchen, replenish all supplies
• Keep facility areas and outside grounds cleaned and organized
• Keep janitorial supply area clean and organized all times; keep inventory of janitorial supplies
• Document and complete daily checklist
• Follow plant GMP, SQF and food safety/security policies.

Skills:

- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Familiarity with custodial duties and facilities maintenance
- Strong work ethic and reliability
